THEY EXAMINED THE RELATION BETWEEN BEER INTAKE AND WAIST–HIP RATIO (WHR) AND BODY MASS INDEX (BMI) IN A BEER-DRINKING POPULATION AND CONCLUDED THAT IT IS UNLIKELY THAT BEER INTAKE IS ASSOCIATED WITH A LARGELY INCREASED WHR OR BMI.
